As with all of our meats at Grow & Behold, this duck fat comes from ducks raised outdoors on pasture with no hormones or antibiotics. They have plenty of room to move about, graze, and bathe -- which means the animals are healthy and their fat carries all the nuanced flavor of the pasture. We call this "liquid gold" or "meaty butter" and love to spread it on toast, use it to sear a steak, or fry up potatoes. You'll really appreciate the wonderful flavor in our pastured duck fat!
